Ben Folds Fotos & Bootlegs
11:58 am Wed, 6th April 2005At least one of us had the sense to bring a camera to the Ben Folds gig. Many thanks to Janet for these pics. (ARGH I’m still kicking myself over not thinking to bring my digicam… oh the videos I could have captured!!! *sob* See the photos and you’ll understand my anguish.) Note that these pics were taken with the good old fashioned film camera – no zoom!! We were *that* close!
And as usual dear old benny lived up to his usual antics of playing choir master with the crowd. Whilst standing on top of the grand Steinway & Sons piano, I might add.

The Mr. Folds concert was indeed awesome. It’s also good to see that the photos we took on the FILM CAMERA actually turned out okay! Yay!

Yeh I like Landed.. and I esp like “There’s Always Someone Cooler Than You” (live version on the landed single).. And yes, concert was phwoarsome! As per usual. 🙂
The new album is out now too… I’m gonna be buying that today ($21 at jb hi-fi!)
Verandah Bar was good… yeh it went off. But it got a bit crowded at one point… and I don’t like that they don’t have levels/stages in the venue.. which helps break the crowd up a bit. They also repeated songs alot. But everyone seemed to be having a good time. Yes lots of asians.
